About Eemskrant.nl

Eemskrant.nl consists of a team of enthusiastic employees with a healthy interest in photography, current events and the regional emergency services. The employees have been active for several years and regularly supply visual material to regional weekly newspapers, national daily newspapers, internet sites and television.

Although this website has only been active since mid-2011, the photographers of Eemskrant.nl are certainly no strangers in the region. In the area there are various websites for regional news (including 112) to which our photographers have also contributed in the past. The explicit wish for an identity and image of its own were ultimately decisive in the decision to launch this new website.

Reliability and quality are our top priority.

Via Eemskrant.nl we keep visitors up to date on current affairs from the Appingedam, Delfzijl, Loppersum, Eemsmond and Slochteren regions. The news is not limited to political reports or accidents and fires. We are particularly interested in the nice messages that are close to the people.
