Eenadu News Feed

News Feed Application is designed to help Eenadu reporters, contributors, etc to send daily news

items with pictures, videos thru Web or Mobile App(Android and iOS) to a central repository with a

a specific category of the news item(s) with or without pictures or videos to be published either for Print

(EENADU NEWS PAPER) or Digital (eenadu.net) or TV Channels ( ETV or ETV Bharat).

The Mobile App(Android and iOS) shall have a Speech to Text conversion mechanism feature and

also converting generic / Unicode versions of Telugu Font into EENADU specific Font which is unique

and used only by EENADU.

The received News Item(s) with or without pictures or videos are collected or saved into a central

the repository where an algorithm is triggered to identify similar text news items or pictures or videos to

the nearest accuracy of min 10% matching found between the new News Item with the older news

items available in the central repository which are from yesterday or just received news items before

receiving the latest news item for comparison on various aspects and identifying only content or picture

or video removing false negatives such as the name of the district or a person or any object which is

being used as a word while constructing the news item(s) and considering false positives, true

positives and true negatives in identifying the news items or pictures or videos for duplication and

pull out all those matching items for review, validation, and approval process.

Any item or picture or video found duplicate even with 10% is subject to review and validation at 2

levels to make sure it’s appropriately reviewed, and validated with respective persons keying in the

remarks for their approval to move ahead with the news items or pictures or videos eligible for

publishing as necessary.

All such duplicate news item(s) or pictures or videos shall be visible within the network and accessible to

the reporter or contributor who’s sent it with status but is not able to edit or download or delete

options for them archived for further review and assessment of whether to retain or delete

permanently from the central repository to avoid/reduce the no of duplicate items found for a

news item with or without a picture or video.

The approved news item(s) with or without picture(s) or video(s) shall be automatically pushed into

respective repositories of Print(EENADU), Digital (eenadu.net), and TV Channels ( ETV and ETV

Bharat) as necessary, importance, etc for that particular edition or region or zone or constituency, etc
