About EHCPPT (Eye-Hand Coordination Pointing with Pencil Test)

This app records data for a short period of time using a stylus pen, born from a joint research between Kyoto University and Gifu University. Compatible with tablet devices with a screen size of 7 inches or more.

The diameter of the circle displayed on the screen is set to be approximately 5 cm on all displays. * 1

It is being developed so that not only medical professionals but also ordinary households can easily check their health.

In the future, we will be able to score the upper limbs (arms and hands) ability, attention function necessary for performing tasks, and cognitive functions such as working memory. A scoring function will also be installed.

How to use

1. When started, the measurement mode menu is displayed.

2. Select "bass 60 / treble 0" or "bass 65 / treble 35" from the menu to start measurement.

* If you select "Custom", you can set the number of high and low tone occurrences, beep interval, and number of sets.

開始 To start measurement, tap the red circle at the center of the screen. Then, the countdown starts from 5 seconds.

In the case of “bass 65 / treble 35”, the pitting is performed when the treble becomes.

赤 い A red circle appears when you tap the screen, and disappears when you leave the screen.

3. When the measurement is completed, the acquired data is displayed, and "Save" and "Send by e-mail" buttons are displayed.

で は "Save" saves the data in csv format on the main unit, so you can transfer it to your PC using iTunes etc.

You can send one measurement data by "Send by mail".

・ Measurement mode

[Low 60 / High 0]: A low tone (1 kHz) beep sounds 60 times at 1 second intervals.

[Bass 65 / Tall 35]: Randomly emits 65 low (1 kHz) beeps and 35 high (2 kHz) beeps.

点 Spot when a treble occurs.

[Custom]: The number of low tones (1kHz), high tones (2kHz), and beep generation intervals can be set arbitrarily.

Also, how many times the set measurement mode is repeated can be specified as a set.

計 測 The measurement mode set by custom is retained until the next change.

・ Recording data

Recorded data can be saved to the device in CSV format or sent by e-mail.

Items to be recorded are beep time [sec], 1kHz, 2kHz, touch time [sec], x-coodinate [cm], y-coodinate [cm] in the row direction, and data acquired at 1 second intervals in the column direction. Will be

1kHz and 2kHz items indicate that a beep sound has occurred when the data is "1".

座標 The coordinate value of the hit point is an error from the center. Negative values ​​indicate a shift to the left in the x direction and a shift down in the y direction.
