Industrial companies across Europe are forced to care about their energy behavior, as industrial

energy price increased by 80% since 2004*. Especially times, when consumption and production drift

apart, are causing high electricity prices during peak hours.

EIDOS - Energy Intelligent Decision Optimization System - is instantly bringing cost efficiency to a

company as it avoids imbalances between production and consumption.

More concretely, EIDOS offers the possibility of defining VPP portfolio global strategic goals like Profit

Maximisation (PM) on a given energy market or Imbalance Minimisation (IM) of own production and

consumption profiles.

The above feature is offered as a simple dashboard level selector at the disposal of the VPP operator. In the

background the strategy responsible algorithms, based on the 1994 Nobel Prize winning Game Theory by John

Forbes Nash Jr., will make efficient use of the Real Option Theory delivered by STE2AM season 2 I-Project.

The two complementary algorithms are operating on the client’s production and consumption real time profiles

managed seamlessly by the VueForgeTM component for Big Data Open Source Energy Management System.

The solution will help the clients to gain extra and to save money without investing in complex

software with high license costs.
