Electors

Electors is an app designed to provide statistical information about the contesting candidates for the election and work done by them in their previous tenure.

All of the data shown in the application is picked up from two sources: Wikipedia and the Indian election commission's website (https://eci.gov.in/) and is already available on the internet in the public domain.

The information provided is updated only before elections when it is made available on the Indian election commission's website.

The idea is to provide only basic information about the candidate which is already present in the public domain in one place.

We don't display any controversial/noncontroversial information from any news sources either verified or non verified, neither do we broadcast any push notifications in relation to any candidates. Push notifications such as no of votes each candidate received may be broadcasted only after the results of the elections are declared.

Users can share their views in the comment section of the app based on the region and constituency.
