"ECA" is a free smartphone app to inform and warn the population of the district of Erlangen-Hochstadt. Current information and warning concerning the district are available directly on their smartphone - with optional additional push notification.

You can what topics you want to be actively informed individually specify (for example, school failure, roadblocks, general news and warnings, fire, flood, bomb disposal and others)

The messages are sent by the relevant subject areas of the district office. The "ECA" does not replace the instructions from authorities, police or other emergency services on site.

For the use of ECA and the receipt of the information a data connection (Wi-Fi or mobile) is required. In this way costs from your respective service providers may arise.

To use the location function location services must be enabled on your smartphone.
