This handy app helps parents and health workers to assess pain in infants and children who do not yet speak. The result shows an index from 1 to 10 in the LLANTO scale.

The measurement is observational and is very simple to use.

By selecting "new assessment" questionnaire accessed 5 steps. Each step has 3 possible options.

The steps are:

LL -LLanto

A - psychological attitude

N - Normorespiración

T - Postural Tone

O - Observation Facial

This tool helps estimate the intensity of pain that the baby is suffering.

The 'scale CRYING' is the first in Castilian validated scale to measure pain in infants and children who are unable to express themselves verbally. It is developed at the University Hospital La Paz in Madrid by the team of Dr Francisco Reinoso-Barbero unit infant pain.

CRYING observational scale in which health workers must choose in each of the five parameters, which corresponds to the situation shown baby.

The total score range from the minimum 0 (no pain or no pain) and maximum 10 (maximum pain) score can distinguish three levels of pain: mild (score of 1 to 3), moderate (4-6) and intense (7 to 10)

Some elements consist of observation if the child cries or type of crying, posture, breathing, etc.
