Escala RACE

Scale RACE (Rapid Arterial Occlusion Evaluation).

Application designed to calculate the RACE neurological scale. Predicts a simple and reliable way the presence of proximal arterial occlusion in patients with acute ischemic stroke anterior cerebral circulation. Directed to initial neurological assessment by prehospital EMTs within protocol and philosophy of "stroke code" where time is vital ("Time is brain").
