ESS

ESS is a visual stability measurement system designed for real‑world environments.

It analyses motion, brightness, and edge behaviour to determine how stable or unstable a scene is — all without using audio or collecting any data.

ESS runs entirely offline, using deterministic visual proxies to identify junctions, doorways, and hazards.

It calculates a single ESS score (0–100) and classifies results into five stability levels, from Level 1 = Best to Level 5 = Worst.

Each level reflects how visually stable the environment is, helping users and systems understand risk and movement conditions instantly.
