The III English Teaching Congress aims at providing the English educators of Huetar Northern Region with innovative, inclusive, and empowered pedagogical practices when teaching English as a foreign language. The congress seeks to promote a reflective and interactive academic space in order to create a positive socio-academic impact inside and outside the classroom.

The III English Teaching Congress is intended for English educators of Huetar Northern Region in Costa Rica. This region includes the counties of Guatuso, Upala, Los Chiles, San Carlos, and Rio Cuarto. Additionally, the district of San Isidro of Peñas Blancas of the county of San Ramón of Alajuela; and the districts of Puerto Viejo and La Virgen of the county of Sarapiquí of Heredia.
