Advance your character over time, gaining experience and claiming rewards for battles won.

Battles are quick and simple. You need to disarm your rival's shield as accurately as possible to increase your chances of a successful hit. For maximum accuracy, make sure all bosses are vertical when the shield timer runs out.

Each first strike costs a battle token,

each incoming strike costs a resilience point, but grants you a free strike-back.

You gain experience on every battle, but only winning matches grant you a battle token, and possibly a reward.
