EXPO, the abbreviated term for "Exposition", is used to mean "International Exhibition" or World's Exhibition".

One of the most important events in the world, "Expo 2016 Antalya", with its theme of "Flowers and Children", will be held in Antalya from April until October 2016. More than 40 countries are expected to participate in the EXPO, which will run for 6 months on a 112-hectares exhibition site.

It is expected that millions of tourists from both Turkey and abroad will visit EXPO 2016 Antalya. Within the scope of EXPO 2016 Antalya, within which national and international congresses, panels, meetings and seminars will be organized, the visitors will experience cultural and artistic activities.

The Horticultural Expo, which will extend beyond the EXPO Antalya dates of April‐October 2016, will contribute to the development of Antalya, but also the surrounding cities, as well as benefitting tourism and trade throughout the country.
