Jardim Botânico Baptist Church is a church associated with the Brazilian Baptist Convention, which brings together about 14,000 churches and congregations throughout Brazil. The first Baptist churches in Brazil were organized by North American missionaries in the late 19th century.

On March 31, 1966, the Jardim Botânico Baptist Church was organized. The first three pastors were American missionaries who served briefly. The first Brazilian pastor was Pastor Euclydes S. Lima, who led the church for 47 years. Currently the church is led by Pr. Judiclay Santos.

We are a church that recognizes the supreme authority of the Scriptures as our rule of faith and practice. We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith in Christ. We recognize that Jesus Christ is Lord of all creation, sovereign of the universe and head of the Church. We are a traditional Baptist church committed to making disciples in Brazil and around the world.

We are committed to living for the glory of the triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, to whom honor and praise belong forever. Our vocation is to build up the church through teaching the Word and to serve the world through preaching the gospel and works of mercy.
