Fantasy Maze VR Game

Fantasy Maze VR is a cardboard or daydream VR box game. You can play it by using a second android phone as controller or just by touching the screen. Please refer to the help and configuration menu in the game and make sure that your headset phone is running Android 7.0 (API level 24) or above.

I developed this game on Libgdx platform and used the following technology

⦁ OpenGL Shader.

⦁ 3D animation

⦁ 3D Particle Effects

⦁ Libgdx Decal

⦁ Bluetooth

This VR game needs a second android phone to control the character. Please download Google’s Controller Emulator: https://developers.google.com/vr/daydream/controller-emulator

Follow Google’s instructions to install it on your second android phone. On Google’s web site, it shows the emulator is deprecated. You can just ignore the message. The web site also said the headset phone must be daydream phone, but I made it work for new regular android phone. After you install the Controller Emulator on the second android phone, please pair your headset phone with your controller phone via Bluetooth (please unpair all other Bluetooth devices for headset phone and controller phone) .

Run the Fantasy Maze VR on your headset phone and run the emulator controller on your second phone. The controller will talk to the headset automatically. The controller will show the message “Connected (Bluetooth)”.

The control of the character is simple: Touching the pad on left side, she will walk toward left.

Touching the pad on right side, she will turn to right. Touching the bottom button, it will return to main menu. The goal is to find the gold. It is hidden in the maze. On the road, you can double tap the pad to make a mark. When you reach the gold block, you win. I showed the gold on the map. Do not look at the map if you want to challenge yourself.
