FFT- Explore & Audio

The FFT Explore & Audio app is a graphics tool designed to demonstrate the fundamental operations of the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and its application in transforming frequency domain information into spectral data.

The app is equipped with four interactive charts that provide visual representation of two individual waves (Wave-A and Wave-B), their composite wave (Sum of Wave-A + Wave-B), and the FFT of the composite wave. These charts offer a dynamic way to understand the interaction and summation of waves, and the subsequent transformation using FFT.

An additional interactive feature of the app is the ability to interact directly with the waveforms on the charts. Users can touch any point on a wave within the chart, and the app will provide the precise value at that specific point. This feature enhances the user’s understanding of the waveforms and their characteristics, offering a hands-on approach to exploring and learning about FFT and signal processing.”
