Filsafat Ibnu Sina

Ibn Sina, also known as "Avicenna" in the Western world, was a Persian-born philosopher, scientist and doctor. He is also a prolific writer, most of his work is on philosophy and medicine. To many, he is the "Father of Modern Medicine."

In his philosophy, Ibn Sina argues that the first reason has two characteristics, namely the mandatory nature of the emanation of God and the nature of the possible form, if viewed from the nature of it (Nasution: 35). Thus he has three objects of thought, namely God, himself as his obligatory form. In this application, the 3 objects mentioned above will be discussed thoroughly.
