The Financial Intermediation Research Society (FIRS) Conference

After twelve successful conferences (Capri 2004, Shanghai 2006, Anchorage 2008, Prague 2009, Florence 2010, Sydney 2011, Minneapolis 2012, Dubrovnik 2013, Québec City 2014, Reykjavík, 2015 Portugal 2016, Hong Kong, 2017), the Financial Intermediation Research Society (FIRS) is pleased to announce that the next conference will be held in Barcelona, Spain , June 1-3, 2018.

Program and Location

The conference will begin after lunch on Friday, June 1, and conclude in the evening of Sunday, June 3. It will also feature a keynote speech by Professor Jean-Charles Rochet (SFI@University of Geneva, UZH, and TSE-P) on June 3. The venue will be the Hilton Barcelona (beware, multiple Hiltons in the city). Participants can also optionally register for the gala dinner to be held on Saturday, June 2.
