FreeStyle LibreLink - FI

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with the FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors. You can check your glucose by scanning your sensor with your phone. Now FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensor users can receive automatically updated glucose readings every minute in the FreeStyle LibreLink application, as well as alerts when glucose is low or high. You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app as follows:

* Show current glucose reading, direction arrow and glucose history.

* Receive low or high glucose alerts with the FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors. [2]

* View reports such as Time in Region and Daily Overview.

* Share information with doctor and family with your permission. [3]

USING THE APPLICATION AND THE READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR

Alerts only work on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or phone (not both). If you want to receive alerts on your phone, you need to activate the sensor with the app. If you want to receive alerts on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, you must activate the sensor on the reader. When the sensor is activated with the reading device, you can also scan the sensor with your phone.

Remember that the application and the reading device do not share information with each other. If you want detailed information for the device, scan the sensor every 8 hours with that device. Otherwise, the reports will not contain all the information. You can download and display information about all your devices on LibreView.com.

ABOUT THE APPLICATION

FreeStyle LibreLink is intended for measuring glucose levels in people with diabetes when used with the sensor.
