Why FreeVPN

· Truly anonymous — there is no signup screen. We never ask for your phone number, email, or any personal information.

· One-tap connect — choose nothing, configure nothing. The app picks the server for you.

· Honest quota — your remaining traffic is metered on the server side and shown in real time, so the displayed number is the real one.

· Optional rewarded ads — never forced. You only see an ad when you tap "Watch ad" to top up your daily quota. No banners, no interstitials, no ads during a VPN session.

· Modern protocol — built on Xray-core with VLESS + Reality and XTLS-Vision, designed to work in restrictive networks.

· Foreground service with a persistent notification, so Android does not silently drop the tunnel.

How it works

When you tap connect, the app fetches a short-lived server configuration over HTTPS, opens an Android system VPN tunnel, and routes your traffic through our node. When the daily quota is exhausted, the tunnel disconnects automatically and a countdown shows when the next free quota will be available. If you want extra quota before the next midnight, the "Watch ad" button appears once you drop below the low-quota threshold.

What we do not do

· No tracking of your browsing — we count bytes per device per day, not URLs or domains.

· No behavioural analytics SDK, no crash reporting SDK, no profile-building SDK.

· No bandwidth selling and no traffic logging beyond what is needed to enforce the daily quota.

Ads & data: We use Google AdMob solely for the optional rewarded video. AdMob may process your Android Advertising ID and basic device/network signals to serve the ad and prevent fraud, under Google's privacy policy. We never receive your AAID and never tie it to your anonymous device hash. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads in Android system settings.

Limitations to be transparent about

· Single server location during the public test phase.

· arm64 devices only for now (most modern phones).

· Some Chinese OEM launchers aggressively kill background services; if the tunnel drops on your device, please file an issue with your phone model.
