Geervani

Geervani App is an educational innovation by the Department of Sanskrit Education with the aim of providing online reading learning using smartphones to the students studying in colleges in the Sanskrit Education Department, Rajasthan. Geervani App provides chapter-wise e-content of all subjects including Sanskrit to the students. Along with this, e-books, research papers, a list of all Sanskrit colleges, and profiles of working professors and lecturers have been included.

The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education makes the teaching-learning process easy and effective. Complex learning points can be explained in a better way with the use of ICT. Apart from this, the use of ICT in education also provides the necessary resources to continue teaching with social distancing in a situation like a corona epidemic.

Geervani App has been developed by National Awardee Teacher Mohammad Imran Khan. He is a teacher working in the Department of Sanskrit Education, who is known for his educational innovations especially educational apps. The e-content of the app has been created by the technically proficient teachers of the department, while the entire process of app management and e-content selection is being done by Govt. Maharaj Sanskrit Acharya College, Jaipur.
