Gema Takbir Lebaran

Takbiran or saying takbir "Allahu Akbar" is one of the sunnah practices during Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Qurban.

In one history it is stated,

كَانَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْرُجُ يَوْمَ الفِطْرِ فَيُكَبِّر حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ المُصَلَّى وَحَتَّى يَقْضِيَ الصَّلاَةَ فَإِذَا قَضَى الصَّلاَةَ ؛ قَطَعَ التَّكْبِيْر

"The Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam used to go out to pray on Eid al-Fitr, then he said takbir until he arrived at the field and until the prayer was about to be carried out. When the prayer was about to be carried out, he stopped from making takbir. (Issued in As Silsilah Ash Shahihah no. 171. Shaykh Al Albani said that this history is authentic). From this history, which is in accordance with the sunnah as well as the opinion of Imam Ash Syafi'i that the takbir of Eid al-Fitr begins to be echoed from the house to the field until the priest comes out to pray 'eid.
