We believe you should own your genome. So we built Genomes.io, a private and secure DNA data bank that puts you in full control of your genome.

Using the Genomes.io app, you control access to your DNA data that is securely stored inside your virtual DNA Vault. These vaults harness next-generation security technologies, which means even we, as a technology provider, can’t access your DNA data.

You can choose to run specific genomic reports (e.g. personal traits, carrier status, health risks) on your data to learn more about yourself in a way that suits you best, without ever revealing this information to a third-party.

But most importantly, you can give permission and share your DNA data directly with researchers that need it most. You receive full transparency on how your data will be accessed, the research it will be used in, and you can even earn by doing so!

View a history of how your data has been accessed in the Actions tab. A ledger of your earnings in the Wallet tab. And configure how you want to share data in the Settings tab. The more data you decide to share, the more you will earn. We’ll make sure doing so always ensures full data privacy, security and ownership.
