Geobrary® is an application developed for mobile phones and tablets with Android or Apple iOS operating system (iPhone, iPad), with the purpose of making available to Geology students and any interested person a technological tool that facilitates the recognition of visu and the identification of common minerals and fossils,

Quick, simple and free, both in the classroom and in the field. This tool stimulates the observation, description and comparison of specimens in hand samples, and contributes to constructive learning because the user makes decisions by using dichotomous keys that allow the identification of the specimen, even at a specific level. In addition, the application contains basic mineralogical and paleontological information, image galleries, access to multimedia databases and glossary of terms, among other resources.
