GITAM SOCIETY’S OBJECTIVE of providing accessible, affordable and quality Dental Education and Oral Health Care to North Coastal Andhra, led to the conception of ‘GITAM Dental College & Hospital”. The Dental College and Hospital was established in the year 2001 with an annual intake of 40 students and from the academic year 2003-04 the annual intake is increased to 100 students. Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India issued letter of recognition for BDS Degree awarded by Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada with respect to BDS Students of GITAM Dental College & Hospital, Visakhapatnam, vide their letter F.No.V-12017/31/2003-DE, dt.25-06-2008. fhdhfh
