About Good Job (ADHD assistant)

Beat ADHD blues with rewards for doing your morning/evening routines.

Good Job was born out of need to help us cope with our daily routines. This beautiful app is for ALL people that struggle with attention issues. It is easy to use and it even rewards you for completing your morning & evening routines.

This app tries to help the ADHD person to face challenges, like:

1. Loss of self-confidence, because yet again I have forgotten to do something very simple, like put my lunch-box in my bag.

2. Stress, because the rest of the family is ready to leave the house, yet I have not done all my stuff yet.

3. Insults from others, because some people try to help you to focus, by insulting your current “slack” behaviour.

3. Loss of energy, because for some people it takes lots of energy just to focus on “ticking off” their little morning to-do list.

Plus this app tries to help the FAMILY of the ADHD person:

1. For others, who don’t have ADHD, it is often an extra burden to continually remind you of your stuff.

2. Other people might feel that you don’t care, because every single morning they have to point out the exact same stuff that you forgot yesterday.

3. They might become frustrated with you, because they don’t always understand and might judge you as being lazy or stupid.

4. They already have their own goals, which come naturally to them, but now they have to struggle through your stuff as well.

App Features:

1. Fun tick lists for Morning and Evening respective.

2. Easy interfaces to use and change your lists.

3. Daily collect a new Good Job Motivational Posters, simply by completing your daily routines.

4. Simplicity = it is key to the psychology behind this app to ensure the app has to be basic and very easy to use without any "clutter".

App Goals:

1. To help you to self-manage your routine.

2. To help you eventually wean (get rid of) the app, by teaching yourself the basic skills and value of focusing on your routines. The idea is that you eventually will not need the app anymore.

3. To help you overcome negative “self-talk” that we often say to ourselves each time we fail to achieve the very basics of our daily routines. To replace the negative talk with positive motivations and self-respect.
