The Gorakhpur Club Ltd, Gorakhpur, is one of the premier clubs in India. It came into its existence as “Gorakhpur Club Ltd” in the year 1888.It is the oldest club of Eastern Uttar Pradesh.The club is adjoining to the District Magistrate’s residence located in the posh locality called Civil Lines in which all renowned citizen reside and which is also in the heart of the city. The club is having nearly 12 acres of land with open lawns and green areas located all over the club.
