GoRun

GoRun is the best feature rich easy to use app for fitness activities – running, biking, walking and hiking. It is carefully designed to use minimum space your phone and spends minimum energy in usage. It is less than 3 mb in size while most other comparable apps are more than 20 mb. You get real time plotting of elevation graph as you are performing. You can listen to your choice of music from iPod library without leaving the app. All features will work without any Cellular network connection except map route.

It is native GPS enabled, uses GPS chip of your phone to locate your location/elevation and calculate speed, direction based on satellite readings. The app is for outdoor use only.

The app presents 4 pages of details and you can swipe anytime during activity through the pages to see the details. Main dashboard shows total distance, duration, average pace, elevation, lap pace, lap distance, total calorie burned and direction you are heading to. Lap Details Page shows lap by lap details. Real time chart page is real time elevation vs. speed chart. Activity route shows your current location in map and draws routing of you activity path.

The app will keep track of your calorie burn by activity type.

The app saves your activity details in your phone so you can view your history later and do performance analysis.

The app is integrated with social network and you can post your activity in Facebook or Twitter account.

Additionally you can use Camera during your activity without leaving the app to take pictures and save in your picture library.

In the middle of the activity if you want to send a quick text with your activity details or for any other matter, touch SMS and text.

If you need flashlight during activity for any reason, touch flash icon. Once you are done, touch the icon again to switch off.
