GProvision - MQ

GProvision Sdn Bhd was the Exclusive Licensee for the Praxis Boardgame in Malaysia since its inception in 2013. Using the Praxis boardgame, GProvision designed and delivered numerous training programmes and those who have benefitted from our programmes  hail not only from Malaysia but also from Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, India, Japan, Vietnam, and other parts of the Asia-Pacific region. List of clients include Maybank Banking Group, RHB Banking Group, UOB Bank Bhd, Affin Hwang Asset Management, Citibank, HSBC Bank, OCBC Bank, Affin Fund, Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (KWAP), Agensi Kaunselling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK), Visa International, Crowe Horwath International, Public Mutual, Johor Port, Talent Corporation Malaysia, Leaderonomics, BP Malaysia, Spirax Sarco Malaysia, SMEC Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Skytrex, Nexaldes Group, Navis Capital, LifeEquip, Penang Development Centre, Secondary Schools as well as a number of Colleges, private and public Universities in Malaysia. Collaborative efforts with Entrepreneurs’ Organization, Aged Care Group, The Star Malaysia (Kuntum) and many more have been conducted for public awareness initiatives.  

In 2018, GProvision continued in our journey to design experiential learning programmes and developed our very own financial boardgame known as Money Quotient or more popularly branded as MQ. MQ boardgame incorporates local context with added features such as near-real life scenarios to make learning about finance easier and more relevant.  

Participants in the MQ boardgame experience the chills and thrills of money management in a simulated environment, facing frequent financial and investment choices and situations. Throughout the gameplay, participants’ learning include:  

• Managing and balancing income and expenses  • Saving for short term and long term  • Handling investments • Assets and liabilities • Managing financial blows   

MQ gameplay is highly adaptable to a variety of learning objectives. In people development, MQ can be extensively used in many situations including (not limited to):

MQ gameplay stimulates critical thinking combined with serious fun. The programmes are experiential-based learning and customised to desired learning objectives. It is effective and engaging for participants to bond and build relationships based on shared experiences. Participants apply life skills and soft skills such as communication, respect, responsibility, accountability, as they go through the MQ programmes.
