GreenFlow for Trucks

GreenFlow for Trucks will request priority at intersections with so called intelligent traffic light controllers (iTLC). This priority creates an extension of the green light or initiates an earlier green traffic light. For this purpose the app must be authorized.

The awarding of the priority depends on the configuration of the traffic light application and the policy choices of the road authority in the specific region (city or province).

The app shows the status of the traffic lights and gives a speed advice. If the speed advice is followed the vehicle has a substantial chance of not having to stop for the next red light. The time to green and time to red is also displayed to the driver.

The working of GreenFlow can be seen if the app is set in demo mode.

Using the app in real life:

As a road user and user of the GreenFlow Mobile App you remain at all times fully responsible for the adherence to all applicable traffic rules, the self-assessment of the traffic situation, the observation of the formal physical traffic signs, signalling devices, traffic lights or other indicators. Dynniq Netherlands B.V. will assume no responsibility for any damage arising from the use of the GreenFlow Mobile App.

Peek Traffic B.V. cannot guarantee that the information provided by the GreenFlow Mobile App will be uninterrupted or error-free. In extreme cases this GreenFlow Mobile App can show other information than the physical traffic signals on the road, including but not limited to dynamic signs, traffic lights or audibles. The erratic nature of the general traffic plays a role. Therefore, the actual traffic signs and rules are always leading and not the information on the GreenFlow Mobile App.

The app will use your anonymized location data for the purpose of influencing the iTLC, showing the status of the traffic lights or for analyzing and improving the quality of the service.
