Gridie

Gridie is an educational tool providing live price and source information about Alberta's Electrical Grid updated by the minute using public sources of information on the AESO website. This tool is designed to help all Albertans understand where our power is coming from, how it is being produced as well as the hourly price of the power being produced for the grid. This tool can be used to educate students and adults alike to further understand how and when our society uses power and how time of day and weather affect the price of power in Alberta. Optional alerts let you know when the grid power use is high so you can make an educated decision on your personal power use during a particular time of day.
