Gram per Square Meter (GSM) is often used to measure the density or thickness of fabric, paper etc. It depends on weight, length and width which in turn can be measured in different Units of Measurement (UOM) making the calculation of GSM somewhat complex. Further complexity is added when GSM is a given and any of weight, length or width are required to be calculated.
