Set 15 years after the zombie apocalypse hit, the old civilization has fallen. Fighting for resources and punishing the weak, the world you explore is a harsh and brutal place. In Dying Light 2 Stay Human, the civilization is said to have "fallen back to the Dark Ages", which is reflected in The City setting.
