Guider

Guider is an app which helps people guide their way through a city!

Guider helps tourists find the way to different useful locations. The app indicates a walking route inside a city based on Google Map latest version. It gets your actual location and indicates your position while walking. Activate internet and location service before accessing the app.

Insert the destination into the text field and tap on the walking icon. The app displays the shortest walking route, the distance and the estimated travel time. You also can save the address in a dropdown list. Places are set according to the last version of Google Maps.

The app displays different places types in an 700 meters area around the current position. Slide the left panel and choose the place type. Click on the marker to get the name, then on the walking icon for the route. If your current location is not accurate enough, drag the marker on the map and get a new route.

Guider offers directions to the desired destination. Slide the footer panel or access it from the menu button and display the directions towards the destination. Clicking on the position marker will automatically zoom the map to detailed view. Click on the place icons and see the name of each one.
