Erling Braut Haaland is a British-born Norwegian footballer who plays as a center forward for

Manchester City and the Norwegian national team. He is considered one of the best strikers

in world football. In 2020, he won the Golden Boy award, given to the best player under the

age of 21 playing in Europe.

Haaland began his career in 2016 at his hometown club, Bryne. The following year he

moved to Molde, where he stayed for two seasons, until signing with the Red Bull Salzburg

team in January 2019. In Salzburg, the striker won two Austrian Championship titles and two

Austrian Cups. Wearing a Salzburg shirt, he became the first young player (21 years or

younger) to score at least one goal in five consecutive Champions League games.
