Hariplay

Hariplay is a Music Video streaming and podcast application.

We love music and we know everyone does too. We built this app so it would serve as an elegant, simple and personal way to experience music videos.

The platform allows Artists to build music channels and grow their community of fans with the unique tools and functions of the app. We also wanted to create a single space where anyone and everyone could share a musical video of their favourite Artist. In this way all other fans of the same Artist have one go-to place to go and vibe. As such, Hariplay allows both fans and curators to post musical videos about their most favourite Artist’s.

The platform focuses mainly on new, independent, and up-and-coming artists and in particular African music. Artists can claim and verify Channels that relate to them and interact with their growing fan community.

Hariplay was built with Smart Downloads and Smart Sharing functionality at its core to allow users to watch more and not less. Smart Downloads allow for new music videos to be downloaded to your device automatically when you have a WI-FI connection. And with Smart Sharing the app uses the closeness of your smartphone to other smartphones near you to allow new music to be automatically shared directly to your phone.

Simply open your app when other Hariplay users are nearby and a Smart Sharing session will be created for you. Swipe right or swipe left to choose which new videos you would like to receive.
