Headent Client

Headent Client is a native Android TV and phone client for Tvheadend, the open-source live TV and DVR server. Connect it to your own Tvheadend server and watch live channels, browse the TV guide, play your recordings and listen to radio — with a remote on a TV box, or by touch on a phone or tablet.

Important: Headent Client is not an official Tvheadend product and contains no TV channels or media content of its own. A running Tvheadend server you have access to, and your own credentials, are required.

WHAT IT DOES

• Live TV over HTSP or HTTP, with channel groups, favourites and search

• TV guide (EPG) grid with day tabs, a live now-line and picons

• Recordings (DVR): schedule from the guide or the player, stop, delete and play with resume

• Archive and catch-up, plus timeshift where your server supports it

• Radio in its own section, with its own guide, groups and favourites

• Teletext decoded inside the app — over HTSP and HTTP, with subpages and Fastext

• Channel numbers, zapping, number entry and a quick channel list over the picture

• Two interfaces, Modern and Classic, each in a light and a dark theme

No ads, no tracking, no telemetry. Your server address and credentials are stored only on your device and are sent only to the server you configure.
