Hebrew Calendar Reminders

Hebrew Calendar Reminders — a simple, powerful app for managing reminders by the Hebrew calendar, with precise daily times based on selected location and halacha.

★ Why it's special

Never miss a birthday again because the Gregorian date "moves" every year. Every reminder is computed by the real Hebrew date, with precise nightfall (tzeit hakochavim) or sunset timing for selected location — so a reminder for a Hebrew date fires on the correct halachic day, not the Gregorian one.

★ Reminder types

• One-time, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly

• Rosh Chodesh — with the correct title (the 30th day = next month's Rosh Chodesh)

• Sefirat HaOmer — with the day count

• Birkat HaLevana — by the molad (3 or 7 full days)

• Shabbat candle lighting — by sunset

• Hilulot of tzaddikim — from a built-in catalog

• 40 days — a consecutive series (40-day practice)

• Tahara

★ Timing precision

• Schedule by custom time, sunset, or tzeit hakochavim

• 4 calculation methods: Rav Ovadia, Or HaChaim, Rabbeinu Tam, Kisseh Rachamim

• "Advance reminder" — an extra heads-up a few days before

• "Remind me before" — minutes before the time

★ Smart alerts

• Standard reminder, or alarm-clock-style popup with sound

• Snooze: 5 / 10 min / 1 hour / tomorrow / custom time

• On Shabbat and Yom Tov the popup auto-downgrades to a silent notification

★ More features

• Dozens of cities in Israel and worldwide for accurate times

• 7 theme skins

• Backup and import of all reminders

• Hebrew ↔ Gregorian date converter

• Full Hebrew and English support

• Correct handling of Adar I and Adar II
