HEIFER MAGA

Exponential System Education Development (SEED) created by

Heifer International Guatemala in cooperation with the Department of Development

Livestock Ministry of Agriculture Livestock and Food (MAGA) is

a method for facilitating the formation of more people through the use of

ICT in a rural environment with little access to formal education on issues

animal management. Species in which the application form Heifer SEED

They are: Snail and Tilapia, pigs, bees, goats and sheep and birds in order to

improve animal protein consumption within households, increase

animal production, improve animal management and provide education

experts on each topic.

With these modules animal production, Heifer International in

cooperation with the Department of Livestock Development Ministry

Agriculture Livestock and Food (MAGA) has compiled knowledge

expert with the aspiration to create a "seed" of knowledge

initiate a process of formation of rural families and their facilitators

for the improvement of living conditions of the Guatemalan population.
