Helix ball-drop for Wear OS. Spin the crown, thread the gaps.
A crown-native take on the helix ball drop, built for the round Wear OS
screen and the rotary crown.
A ball auto-descends from the rim toward a glowing center core, its
angular position fixed at the top. Around it sit concentric rings, each
with a single gap. Twist the crown to rotate the rings — line a gap up
at the top so the falling ball drops cleanly through to the next ring.
Hit a solid ring or a red hazard arc and it's game over.
The crown IS the control. No tapping, no swiping — just smooth analog
rotation to thread each gap in time. Score +1 for every ring you pass.
Reach the center core and the level is complete.
Higher levels raise the stakes: more rings between you and the core,
smaller gaps that demand precision, and rings that auto-rotate so the
target keeps moving while you chase it.
Features
• Crown-driven ring rotation — analog precision no D-pad can match
• Auto-descending ball with a fixed top angle — pure timing and aim
• Single-gap rings you thread one at a time
• Red hazard arcs that end the run on contact
• Level progression: more rings, smaller gaps, auto-rotating rings
• +1 score per ring passed; reach the core to clear the level
• Haptic feedback on every pass and crash
• Persistent high score
• Standalone — no phone required
• No ads, no IAP, no internet permission
Controls
• Crown rotates the concentric rings
• Line the gap up at the top so the ball drops through
Tips
• Pre-aim the next gap before the ball arrives — don't wait.
• On auto-rotating rings, match the ring's drift, then nudge.
• Smaller gaps on later levels punish over-spin. Small movements win.
Built for Wear OS 3+. Standalone, offline, no tracking.
Why this on a watch?
Helix drop games were built for a thumb on a phone. The rotary crown is
the input the genre always wanted — a physical dial that maps one-to-one
to the spinning rings. On a round watch screen, with the ball falling
toward a center core, the whole game finally feels native.
