We are Heroes team,

We discovered that a huge percentage of the children in the Arab Nation and around the World suffer from learning disabilities that affects their mental, social, educational state and their daily life activities.

‘Heroes’ is a mobile application that teaches and develops the skills and abilities of the people having learning disabilities. The application will use ‘Assistive Learning Technologies’ in a fun and interactive way under the supervision of the Doctors and Specialists.

The application will have 3 user types.

The first user is the child with learning disability. They will be able to play interactive games that develop their capabilities and skills. They will be also able to track their own performance.

The second user types are the doctors. They will be able to create teams of children having learning disability and make some competitions between them. This will help the children to develop their competition spirits and improve their social skills. Doctors will also be able to keep track of each child periodically and on a daily basis. This process will help the doctors to use the latest technology and techniques in teaching and communicating instead of the old traditional and boring ways that wastes time and efforts.

The third user types are the parents (mother and father) of the child having learning disability. The application will help them to track the status of their children periodically and follow their current progress and development in all aspects.

Our goal is to create a better environment for the children having learning disability and make a real HERO out of each child. We aim to raise the level of social awareness of these children and reduce the gap between the doctors, children having learning disabilities and their parents.
