HiBro

“HiBro” brings you and your friends closer together. “HiBro” is a mix of a "Messenger, Calendar and Matching Application” and provides you with the possibility of getting in touch with friends and making appointments in a very easy and revolutionary way!

Who doesn't know the problem: You want to meet up with friends, so you send them an instant message. What follows, is one rejection after the other, or you won't even get an answer at all. After a few more unsuccessful attempts, you will leave it at that fact. This is the reality these days where people are always busy.

So, the whole “arranging a meeting” thing is a little bit troublesome and exhausting. Furthermore, one does not want to be the person who constantly takes the initiative and writes to friends or initiates group chats asking: “Does anyone want to meet up?”. Even when you have finally managed to find a person who is free and up to do something, it often takes an eternity until you have arranged a meet-up. The reason for this is the full schedule of everyone and of course the obligatory small talk, which has to be gone through first.

“HiBro” is the solution to all of these problems. “HiBro” is a mix of a messenger, calendar and matching application. “HiBro” has two different modes: The “Private Function” and the “Public Function”:

Private Function:

“HiBro” allows you to choose a specific time when you are free. Then you choose friends from your contact list with whom you would like to spend time with. If one of the selected friends has also indicated that he / she wants to do something at the same time and has chosen you from his / her contact list to spend the time with, there will be a "Meet". Since you already know with whom and at what time you will meet, the concrete content of the meeting can be agreed upon quickly.

Public Function:

With the Public function “HiBro” allows you to meet with all existing “HiBro” users who have also set their profile to public. So, once you have set your profile to public, you can choose a specific time when you are free, just like in the Private Function. Now, in contrast to the Private Function, you can select from a bunch of criteria such as radius, gender, age and activities in order to narrow down possible Meets. Once you have done this, all persons who have set “HiBro” to public and have selected the same time and criteria, will appear. You can now swipe left and right in order to discard the person or show your interest. If you swiped to the right you show your interest and if this person has also swiped right, you will have a meet just like in private mode.

Summary

As you can see “HiBro” eliminates the hassle of sending messages to a bunch of different friends in order to arrange an appointment. The time of the appointment is already fixed and long small talks are no longer necessary. And with the public function you are further able to meet “HiBro” user you don’t already know. In summary, “HiBro” simplifies contacting, filters out friends who want to spend time with each other and as a result brings people closer together.
