HIMA’s check for duplication feature ensures households take smarter buying decisions. HIMA marks products that are 90 days or less from their expiration date as " Expiring Soon' and further flags these products when they are a week or less away as ' Nearing Expiry', thereby ensuring that they are consumed or donated in time Products marked for donation can be shared with NGOs nearby the households using HIMA. Utilizing HIMA is a great way to inculcate minimalist buying behavior, to reduce household waste and the consequent household carbon footprint for the good of our society and our environment.
