Home On Time

Home on Time helps you ensure your teenager is making it safely home. For example, after school while you are at work or late at night while you are sleeping.

When your teenager gets home, they simply send a text message to your phone which will cancel an alarm on your phone. If your phone does not receive such a message by a certain time, you are alerted with an alarm.

There are different ways to use this app.

The first way requires only a cell phone for the teenager:

Way #1) When they arrive home, they send a text message to you that contains a password. The password was left by you in the house for them to retrieve and text to you when they get home. For example, you could leave the password "baseball" written on a piece of paper in your kitchen. When they get home, they see it, and they send you a text message with the word "baseball" in the text message.

The next two ways require this app installed in their smartphone and configured to be in Teen Mode.

Way #2) When they arrive home, they press the Home Now button which sends a text message containing the GPS coordinates of where they are. The coordinates in their text message are compared to the coordinates of your home.

Way# 3) When they arrive home, they press the Home Now button which sends a text message containing the name of a wifi network they are currently connected to. The wifi network name in their text message is compared to the wifi network name in your home.
