HSK 2 CZ

The HSK 2 CZ application was created with the aim of helping Chinese students prepare for the HSK (汉语水水考试) level 2 exam. It is also a useful aid for those who have already passed the exam and want to maintain their knowledge.

The application has several firsts and advantages:

• It is the first to provide a complete overview of the vocabulary necessary for successfully passing the HSK 2 exam in Czech. Each vocabulary item has its own audio track and can be annotated.

• Each word is supplemented with example sentences with transcription of pronunciation and translation into Czech. The example sentences are packed with key grammar features for the exam level and are usually sufficient for the exam level vocabulary. Multi-character expressions offer the possibility to click on individual characters with information about partial meanings.

• Selected sentences are supplemented with a reference to the grammar used; an overview of all grammar is conveniently available from the main menu in the Grammar section. Selected vocabulary items are analogously supplemented by clicking through to the Lexicology section. The Synonyms section explains the differences between terms that are similar in meaning.

• A unique learning mode featuring an electronic version of flashcards with words.

• The possibility of selecting words and sorting them into different categories according to how the student controls them, plus the possibility of using a special Favorites category.

• In the My overview section, the student can monitor his/her ongoing study results and also the study pace.

• The application monitors exam dates and HSK registration on behalf of the student (unless this function is turned off in the Settings section).

• The creators of the application monitor the news in the organization and form of the exam and regularly inform the users in the form of notifications about the changes that are coming from 2023.
