Collaborative mapping of environmental noise.

HUBBUB! © Noise alert! It is an app that seeks to raise awareness and promote a more respectful environment in urban areas, monitoring chaotic areas contaminated by noise through citizen collaboration.

The app encourages the user to take measurements in places of their interest that will allow them to find out about the noise level to which they are exposed (in a short period of time) and at the same time share their noise annoyance experience.

User alerts contribute to the development of noise annoyance maps that show noise pollution in cities.

HUBBUB! It is developed by the Laboratory of Acoustic Analysis and Design of the Metropolitan Autonomous University in order to demonstrate noise pollution in cities and create an open database for the community.
