The church is an ever growing entity. More people are converted and more children are born into Christian homes. Gone are the days when pastors, shepherds, priests, bishops and the likes knew each and every member of his church personally. The Church Management and Information System is a system for churches to manage their operations efficiently and systematically. It is also specialized software that assists churches in the organization and automation of daily operations. These packages typically assist in the management of membership and mailings, fundraising, events, and report generation. Churches use these packages to reduce the cost of operations and track the growth in their congregations.

The main aim of this project is to promote proper church administration and encourage transparency among the leaders and the members as a whole and to likewise operational procedures and guidelines for addressing multitude of solutions for handling tithes and offering properties and contributions.

The Church Management System (CMS) is expected to bring benefits of shorter time in accessing and retrieving information, less physical storage is required, reducing cost and resources as well as lightening the workload of the church. Thus, this is a functioning and usable computer-based system customized to the church for better management. This system is unique in the sense that it allows its users to acquire information more easily than the others
