IDRUIDE Web Secure uses a VPN service which allows it to capture all traffic from the device and pass DNS requests through the URL that has been configured for it. IDRUIDE WebSecure uses this API not to route traffic through a remote VPN server, but to ensure that all DNS requests are secure and sent to a trusted DNS server, configured by the user or by the administrator if the device is enrolled in the Idruid Sparkle MDM.
