Who are we?

Before April 2013, the launching date of the IEC, the term entrepreneurship was barely mentioned in the region. IEEE Sudan Entrepreneurship Center (IEC) was launched in 27 April 2013 as the first entrepreneurship center in Sudan. Since then , it has significantly contributed to the entrepreneurial movement in the Sudanese society.The center was founded by a group of talented and aspiring Sudanese Entrepreneurs.

In Jan 2015 , IEC witnessed a new birth to new body "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community " with a totally new vision and goals.

IEC came with the vision of rooting the term entrepreneurship in the minds of the young Sudanese, pave the way for them to freely practice it by offering the needed support by partnering with global partners .

As we move towards our goal to be a world-class community, we will support the entrepreneurial activity in Sudan with all the resources that is or will be available to us , through regular researches in the field and partnering with leading global entrepreneurship communities.

IEC owned the license of Startup Weekend Khartoum, the Global Entrepreneurship Week, and Startup grind for the first time in Sudan and many licenses coming in this year.
