IDM (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides a download manager app for Android. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

App diagnostics & performance (collected)

Crash logs, ANRs, basic analytics (e.g., sessions, feature usage).

Purpose: improve stability, fix bugs, and enhance performance.

Device identifiers for ads (collected)

Google Advertising ID and related signals used by Google AdMob to show ads and for fraud prevention and aggregate reporting.

Purpose: advertising/marketing, analytics, and fraud prevention.

No account data

We do not create or require user accounts.

Files you download

Your downloaded files stay on your device. We don’t upload or view your files.

How We Use Data

Provide and improve app functionality (e.g., reliable downloads).

Monitor performance and diagnose issues.

Show in-app advertising with Google AdMob (banner/interstitial).

Data Sharing

We may share certain data with service providers strictly to operate the app (e.g., Google AdMob and Google Firebase/Play services). These providers process data under their own privacy terms.

We do not sell personal data.

Advertising & Consent

Ads are served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers and cookies to show and measure ads, and to prevent fraud.

In regions where required, we display a consent dialog (UMP) so you can choose personalized or non-personalized ads. You can change your choice in the app’s ad settings (if provided) or device ad settings.

Security

Data transmitted by the app is encrypted in transit where supported (HTTPS).

We use reasonable safeguards to protect data.

Children’s Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Your Choices

You can reset the Advertising ID in Android settings.

You can limit ad personalization in device settings.

You may disable app notifications in the app’s settings or Android settings.
