Inverter is a power electronics circuit that is used to convert or change direct "DC" voltage to "AC" alternating voltage. The inverter is the opposite of the "adapter" converter which has the function of changing the "AC" alternating voltage to "DC" direct voltage. Currently, there are several typologies of inverters, starting from inverters that only produce alternating voltages "push-puli inverters" to inverters that are capable of producing pure sine voltages without harmonization. In addition, inverters can also be classified into several parts based on their phases, starting from one phase, three phases, to multiphase.

Currently, the most widely used types of inverter schemes are sine wave and modified sine. Because in these two waves the electricity consumption obtained is more efficient compared to square waves.

In addition, even the square wave has an output that is not good enough. For example, the electric current in a fan that uses a square wave inverter scheme, the output or sound will be rough. However, the situation is reversed if we choose a sine wave.

The inverter circuit is useful for being able to distribute electric current to all of its circuits at different times. in this arrangement, the inverter can produce a conversion from DC to AC current and vice versa.
